Eek Due for its first service......

I dont know if its just me... but I dont feel very 'fit' at the moment, so out come the bikes for 2008.

Since my bike is now SIX YEARS old !! - its due for its first service (well about 5 years overdue actually)

If you want, guess how much its first service is going to cost me ?

I'm on the way to the bike shop now to get a quote.

GET YOUR BIKES OUT, SUMMERS COMING

it sound like a price that vauxhall would charge for a service on a car.unless he is taking it there then thats 1p change sir...

Errr... well I've actually been quoted £250 before.

The trouble is, its all XTR Shimano stuff... and its the suspension dampers that are the costly thing.

£100 each to service as they are Rock Shox SID front and rear

So... my poor old bike may cost more than the cars first service

Thats the trouble, this is one of THEM bikes...

I'm hoping that the forks wont need to be done, otherwise its gonna be ££££££££&# 163;££
