    Default Painting the Calipers

    Whats the best way and does the car really have to stay put for24 hours?
    I really want to paint mine but i dont think im going to get a chance to leave my car standing for the 24 hours required.

    Any suggestions on colour? im torn between Red Blue and Black my cars silver lightning.

    tetrosyl blue engine lacquer, dries quickly and cost's a fiver or so, used it on my car, looks the nuts and was driving away within 3 hrs

    why not use hammerite ( in smooth though)it dries in a couple of hours and i knoe that a lot of guys on here have had good results, i`bought but not had the time yet.

    hammerite states 24 hours on the tin, whats this tetrosyl blue engine lacquer ditch and where do i get it? do you have any pics of your calipers mate?

    brought some on saturday, can`t say that it says 24hours on my tin, try 8 hours.

    got it from my local motor factor's mate, will look for pic's now

    noooooooooooooooo.............get the vauxhall decals mate, vxr one's are ok but you aint got a vxr

    just my opinion though

    Painting mine blue tomorrow and just ordered some White Vauxhall decals.

    I agree - if its not a VXR than dont add VXR badges (but again only my opinion)
