    Default Rest in Peace....

Well after about 8 years... our Zanussi washing machine has given up...

So, does anyone have any recomendations on what brand or model to go for next and where to get it from at good prices. (oh, I just need a washing machine, not a drier..)

I normally just walk into Comet.

    Thanks for your advice

Had an Indesit washing machine thingy here that we bought brand new for about £400 3 years ago when we moved into our new house.

Seems to be of good build quality and reliability.

But then again, I never touch the thing.

Washing machine - Is that the big noisy square silver thing that sits in the kitchen?. Apparently you feed its gob with dirty clothes and if spits them out clean and fresh?.

    As I said......I wouldn't know.

Just tried to do the washing tonight (10 mins ago) and guess what?
Washing machine gone ga ga..................... I blame you steve
If you hadn't posted your problem on the site, my washing machine would still be working....
That being said, it's been going for a while. But just packed up now.. Coincidence? No....... It's the spoons effect. Guess i'll have to buy a VXR washing machine now...
Got to get a faster one than you... 2500 rpm spin speed. Hmm, must look for a quicker one. He He..

Indesit are the same as hotpoint but cheaper - go for one of those.

If VXR made a washing machine, the spec would be as follows...

Colour : Arden Blue (of course)
Max Spin Speed : 7,200 RPM
    Energy Rating : ZZZ
Water Consumption : 60 litres per minute
    Features: ABS, EBD & ESP

Guaranteed to put the **** back in your pants !!
