    Default Aftermarket warranty.

What do you think of this warranty...
    http://www.warrantywise.co.uk/ww.sys/standardCover

I could get a years warranty for £215.

I suppose it only takes 1 thing to go wrong and that is the cost recouped.

I would qualify for the Standard cover but it looks pretty comprehensive.

Your feedback would be greatly appreciated guys.

    Thanks

i looked at load's when mine was due to run out and all i can say is read the small print , some only cover upto £35.00 an hr labour, some only cover the faulty part and not the associated one's................

i know it is a lot of money, i pay £39.00 pm DD for mine, and it cover's more or less every thing apart from brake's tyres and battery

It sure is but its even less mate, Its only £215!!! £25 worth of extra beer tokens

However, did you look at the site?
It doesn't matter about the cost if they are lousy, but as i said before, it looks pretty comprehensive for the money.

When I bought my car I bought two years extended warranty to follow on from the manufacturers, through the Car Shop in Manchester (that branch has now shut), from a company called AON.

Couple of months back the Alternator Drive Belt Tensioner went. £337.

Contacted them, they spoke to the Dealers, I paid it and they sent me a cheque.

The cover cost me £499, but I still have a year left.

    Well worth it.

Also been contacted recently by Budget Car Ins, who now do warranty.

My car doing 35K miles per year, they want £20 per month, it is two year cover, but you can give thirty days notice anytime.

They will take any car, must be under 15 years or 150,000 mile when the cover starts.

I am sure they aren't the only ones.

What is peace of mind worth?
