    Default 1st Service..?

Having a chat with Ed Taylor last week regarding my car coming up to it's first birthday on March 5th.
The car has now done just over 7,000 miles.
Is this now ready for its first service being a year old or is it down to milage ?
I did hear it's every 18,000 on the 2.0T but i don't fancy leaving it that long being a turbo'd engine, thought a more regular oil change is safer.
Serviced every 10,000 would better i think !

    Any ideas ?

I take it you will be taking it back to garage you bought it from if so all they will do is change the oil and put long life oil in 0w-10w(same as whats in just now) and charge you £130 for the privelege, long life oil is expensive but only half the price garages charge you, get 2x4 ltr castrol gtx on e-bay for around £50 oil filter for £3 and do it yourself

Mine went in yesterday, 7600 miles. INSP was on the display.

£140 for the work, courtesy car, very friendly and helpful and have ordered a new drivers seat belt clip as its a bit sticky

Big thumbs up to Grasmere, Crewe.
