    Default How difficult is it to get a response from dealers?

    I've e mailed several dealers over the last few days with enquiries about cars on their websites and Autotrader etc.
    At the last count I've sent over 20.
    The response?

    Exactly 0, Zero, nader, ziltch, nowt.

    What is wrong with these ****** companies? I want to spend quite a fair bit of money and none of them seem to want it. I respond to any e mail received in work the same day even when out on the road.
    Ooooh, it makes me so MAD!!!

    Rant over.

    it takes the mick they think coz your there its ok to take there time and you have to wait for them even as a customer it shows what there custermer services and aftersales care is like. i know how you feel mate.

    Do you have a spam filter that could be blocking them, or maybe directing them to other folders thinking it is spam etc?


    I have always found that the old fashioned telephone is far better than emails.

    No I don't. When I've narrowed down just who I want to speak to I will, but this sort of response kind of gives me an indication of the garages service levels.
    Let's not forget e mail is one of the prime means of communication. It is, after all, the 21st century!

    I had the same issue when I swapped the black sri.. only got one response from about 7 places.. crazy.

    you have to really get on there nerves to get things done with dealers nowadays.

    They seem to have forgotten where the money for the posh showroom comes from. I don't expect grovelling or subservience from a dealer, just to be treated like a civil being who wishes to partake of a transaction that THEY even make some money out of!!
