    Thumbs down Screwed again !

    Finally got the paperwork off DVLA to put my private reg on the new car, so decided i'd like some new plates aswell.
    Just had plain background, EU flag for going abroad and carbon effect letters/numbers. Nothing else.

    I know - I messed up on mine by not getting EU plates when new, just assumed it would come with them. Now I have to shell out big bucks if I want them - or should I just get a GB sticker.

    I don't want any stickers on my paintwork. I'd get the plates remade and grin & bare it.

    Your supposed to display the country where the car is registered, But i didn't the weekend just gone and had no problems.
    If need be just put a GB sticker somewhere on the rear end.

    I got my new plates made up while at work on Sunday - £31 but got 6 quid off for staff discount

    There's a couple of sellers on ebay that can do a set for around a tenner or so - with the GB logo.

    No, I wouldn't put one on the paintwork either. It either goes on the rear window, or inside the window if its one of those. You can get magnetic ones but I can't imagine them lasting long.
