    Default Time to change Tyres

I've currently got Goodyear NCt-5 on both front wheels with an Avon on the drivers side rear and an NCT-5 on passenger rear. There all size 215/50/R17.
I was looking at changing them all to 225 width but what height 50?45?55?40? whats everyones experience?
I will spend max £100 a corner. Any reccomendations?

225x45 is the correct size for the 17's. I always had Pirelli PZero Rosso's on my Octavia vRS, and I'll probably change to those again once the NCT's (and one primacy) has gone...

Bridgestone Turanza E300's are about 90 notes iirc, I paid 75 notes a corner for my 205-55-16's had a deal with the manager at Kwik Fit, they wear well and do all the important stuff well, though some say they are noisy on a Vec, can't say I ever noticed when I had my Vec fitted with them.

I've got Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3's, probably give the Asymetricals a try next time. You should be able to get the F1's for £80-90.
