    Default tyre question

    I have 215/50/17 tyres on the car. but i have 2 conti 225/45/17 tyres to go on. Will this effect my insurance in any way & do they go on the front or rear of the car ?

    no it shouldn't as long as they are the same speed rating but just inform them just in case, we all know what insurance companys are like

    Should be ok then as the 15/50/17 are 91 & the 225 are 94w cheers

    Current consensus is to put the best tread on the rear - PS your speedo will read app another 2.5% under too
