squeeky drivers seat

57 plate vectra bought from new has just started squeeking, its the drivers chair, shounds a bit like a cheap deck chair that you have at the beach.

anyone else had / have this problem ?

Mine's just started doing this when I get out the car (05 Reg) although it could just be a sigh of relief?

Maybe a little grease applied in the right place would help?

I had this problem on my previous car, a Renault Laguna 2 with half leather. It drove me up the wall (I don't mean that literally!) anyway I sprayed some silicone spray underneath the seat and after a few bounces on it, it shut up, never had a squeek after that.

My 07 Vectra Elite doesn't squeek (na na, na na na)

Yes, but mines in a Skoda, just look at it as a bit of character

Hi there.
Mine (Veccy C 2006)started to make a noise last fall. The sqyueeky-sound started barely noticeable then escalated to be there every time i moved in the seat. Got it fixed, then it came back after 5 weeks... (seems like they only lubricated the seat-frame). Then the seat-frame was replaced, and now it seems ok for the last 5 months.
Covered by warranty, but it does not look good as I think it will come back after a while....

Mine is a squeaker, too. Not often enough to bug the hell out of me, but enough that a couple of people have noticed it.

Mine went in last week for its service and and work on the drivers seat to stop squeeking. There are some parts on order at the moment not sure what.
