Default Great start to a Monday!

Defrosted my car this morning, backed it off the drive, got up the road and thought, "that sounds odd." -a funny rattle from the front.
Pulled over, and it's hanging low on the driver's side, so I suspect a broken spring. I'm just glad I extended my Network Q!
I'm currently awaiting the AA man to pick me up.

Time to put lowered springs on then. The Eibach (£150) ones that went on this weekend are built like a tank, if they snap I would be supprised!

to be honest, any spring would be good at the moment. I'm just hoping the tyre's OK, as I could smell burning rubber.

Yikes! Bad luck there, hope it gets sorted quickly. Hopefully the tyre is ok.

,thats not good, but surely if its under warranty then its down to the spring braking that damaged your tyre,i'd argue it

I would have thought they'd have to change the tyre if the spring has caused the damaged.. May need some gentle persuasion as Glen said.

Phil, I had the exact same problem with mine. The spring broke during the night and do you know I have heard others say the same thing. It breaks during the night for reasons I or the dealers can explain why?

Do you think there is some sort of under hand dirty tricks thing going onto our drives and screwing up the springs!!!LOL. The good thing is the dealers will replace both sides under warranty, if its still under warranty?
