Hi Guys, I am taking car to garage this week so they can trace the fault that's causing the cigar lighter and rear power socket to blow the fuse every time sat nav is connected. Has anyone any ideas?

Sounds like a fault in the SatNav rather than the car. Does it have an alternate power source like a docking station you can try?
Sat Nav is fine in other car. So unlikely to be that. Also blows with phone charger. Cheers though.
Fair enough - very odd, guess there must be a circuit fault or short in the accessory socket itself.
Have you tried plugging it into the rear outlet and seeing if the fuse still blows?
Hi Dave yes it affects the 2 sockets?
Do you happen to know the current drawn by the satnav adaptor?
I take it you've got the correct size fuse fitted? which should 30amp.
Hi Dave,
Yes its 30amp fuses its blowing. Don't know about the current drawn but unit works perfectly in an N reg VW polo?
As already mentioned then, a faulty socket or short somewhere. I take it you've looked down into the socket to make sure a small coin or other metal object hasn't fallen in?
No Dave you're talking to wrong guy I struggle to change a light bulb in House lol. I'll take a lok though.
