SPAX also do a complete kit of adjustable dampers or lowered springs with adjustable dampers

Too late, had to get it done, driving me b****y mad, bonking all the time, and the difference is amazing, the old ones were completely shot, i know i've been ripped off by about £100, but hey ho.
"bonking all the time"
Does this mean that you were getting a noise from the rear end? Were the shocks dead? I would be suprised on a vehicle of this age, was probably just the bushes needed changing. Hey ho.
Only one was shot, but thought it best to do them both, but no noise at all now, and the ride is much better.
PS, Thanks for the offer Andyvec, but i'm down in Essex, bit of a trot from you.
I might take you up on that offer bud. Mine must be due for a replacement soon as I'm over 31,000 miles and Vx only warrant them for 3000 miles.Originally Posted by ANDYVEC
AJA, no need to replace them unless they're knacked
just read thread for first time - took mine into garage months ago, got tail kicking out on bumpy corners etc....bit scary...however VX and local garage said shocks were leaking slightly...could this be same problem??? - would stiffer springs calm it down although making ride harder - sri / gsi guys dont seem to have this problem
are sri and LS shocks the same???
