fittin front fog lights

has anyone (with a 1800 LS 2003 ) had front fog lights with the 4 button headlight switch fitted?
took mine to lcal vx today and they say my car won't recognise the fogs. any ideas???

i thought that if the ls veccys that have no fogs then its not
pre wired up for them,i persume that u found the foglamp looms
behind the bumper if so then the problem lies were the foglamp
switch is,it must not be wired up in that area,have you checked the
fusebox to see if it needs a fuse and a relay.

Hi andy (happy xmas & new year mate).
i bought the:
front fogs
wiring loom
new switch
took it down to vx 3 weeks ago and the tech said "not a problem just need to get the managment unit to recognise that you have fog lights".
went in today to have it fitted ,and 1 hour later the phone rings and they are telling me it won't work.Now they want to take it to Lucas (electrical) and fit it via some cable, a relay and a toggle switch and charge me £117.50
NOT HAPPENING>>>
thinking of selling my tractor now as ive had enough..

oh no thats not good is it,i would of thought it doesn`t need tech 2
is the switch assy for the latest model have u a part number or ident
off it as i think you will find that u need same switch unit from the same
year of vectra,i will make enquiries so dont do anything yet till i get bk to
u, should of got an sri m8 or even an sxi at least they have fogs that
work so u planning to change for another 1 then.

and a big SL above the last four zeros.
have some # on underside of switch, which are:

BELOW THAT

I've driven an S4 a number of times as my friend / one of my bosses has one. It's friggin obscene to be honest, absolute madness, handles like a true machine - so the RS4 is going to be the sports saloon to end all sports saloons. Jermey Clarkson reckons its better than an M3.

So, you can afford a fifty grand Audi, but you may just get another Vectra?

If I had 50K to splurge on a motor, it definitely wouldn't be made by Vauxhall!!
