The CD30 doesn't have a line in, so a modulator + some other form of remote control is your only option.

Some modulators now make use of RDS and to put track info on the car's display. I think some even mimic a traffic announcement so that the radio automatically tunes to the modulator when the ipod is turned on.

For remote controls, have a look at what Griffin and Logic3 offer.

Alternatively, there's also the HK Drive'n'Play, which is a modulator, control and display in one.

I'm using Denison Icelink in mine - Quality is more than acceptable certainly better than an FM Transmitter as it's a wired connection. Powers the ipod and puts it into pause when ignition turned off.

Sorry mate Laptop died but back online now!

Yep thats the one - two wires to connect but thats it. Works very well and if the signal drops there is an adjuster below the cradle - never had to use it though it's an ideal solution for the CD30

I reckon it's the best you can get at the moment for the CD30 - never had issues with the sound quality. My brother used to have an itrip and it used to drop off all the time!
