help with computer?

my computer as of last night has put up a security toolbar 7.1 with a security level indicator and block adware,remove spyware symbols what is this how do i remove it ,also i keep getting notices saying system alert anti spywares ,and when i log on to internet i get redirected to a site to buy system security products,redirecting me to ad sites etc,i have mc afee and run a system scan and it didnt pick anything up anyone know how to fix this?

Hi .. have you tried system restore to restore your pc to an earlier state , i make a new restore point abouy once every couple of months when my laptop is running ok . Derek

Dump internet explorer and use firefox, and try to stay away from the porn sites. job done.

did you purchase this or has it been 'spammed' onto your system..??

don't follow any internet links as who knows where they lead..try first removing and cookies and temp files you have and do a history dump..

Dump Mcafee as it's not that good..I use AVG from Grisoft and it's much better..

try that first ( the dumps) and see if it's cured it..

if it comes up automatically, you can use the msconfig option to stop it starting when you boot
