advice please

my rear wheels have started to squeel after about 10 mins of driving and they also do the same when applying the brakes, the best way to describe the sound is when you hear an old bus or lorry braking, the rear pads were changed in december , although the noise has just started over the last couple of weeks, i get a constant noise whilst driving ? any ideas anyone

sound's like you need to apply some copperslip to the rear of the pad's mate

Is your hanbrake binding? Lorries squeel when drums/pads are sh it up or need changing!

Rich has it there. It's dryness. Take them to bits again and put a smear of copper slip on all the metal bits of the pads that touch other metal parts, ie caliper carrier, caliper piston etc

And, make sure the pads are located correctly. The rears are notoriously sensitive.

yep, make sure the spring is in the groove in the piston or they'll shreik as well..

And make sure the friction material hasn't come adrift from the pad. I had that happen to me on a Cavalier (with non-VX pads).
