    from my sons new saxaphone.

    Do you think it's less than supportive to wear ear defenders when he's practising?

    whats more supportive..earphones or a can of expanding foam down the saxaphone.... instant peace and quiet....

    Ah, I like it Mark. An engineering solution. PPE should always be a last resort.

    Put bubble fluid in it! Really upsets the musical fraternity apparently!!

    Daughter has a clarinet, son has a guitar, both shocking when it comes to playing so they get sent to the nearest thing to a soundproof room...the conservatory!!!

    I know where your'e coming from mate, my missus bought one (absolute fortune) about this time last year and it does my fookin head in.

    Top tip. I had it the wrong way round and hid in the conservatory.

    Yep, they ain't cheap. Got the VAT off as we bought it through the school. Both me and the missus play the guitar but he's not interested.

    I did have a quick go but there's buttons everywhere.

    Sorted it in the end. Took them both out for a meal. Bliss.

    its amazing how many songs have sax in them, before, i just used to listen to music (all types) but once you get an ear for the sax sound you notice it straight away.
