Can anyone offer me some advise on my 2.2 sri rear brakes? Just changed the front pads which was really easy, but when it came to the back I couldnt budge the rear pistons to fit the new pads in. Any ideas would be welocme.

As a new member, not sure if Im using this thread thingy right. Many thanks to Stevo83 for your photos.
It was the winding in of the pistion where I was going wrong! Tried in vain to push it back in like the front one's, but was obviously doing it wrong!
Well, thats tomorrows work planned!
Thanks again
just hope you haven't damaged the thread.. wind them back in very carefully..
If its knackered the threads ive only got myself to blame. Should have joined you guys before going ahead! Sure it will be OK
if it doesn't wind back in even with the correct tool, then it's new caliper time....
Mole grip method didnt work. Called out local mechanic with correct wind down tool and the job was done in half an hour. Phew! thought I had stripped the thread, but this tool applied pressure as well as winding in the piston.
Always use the correct tool for the job.
yep..lesson well learnt..
