First main dealer service?

Any idea how much a first service on an 07 plate 1.8vvti will cost?
And what do they do on the first service?
Do they replace air filter,oil filter,oil,pollen filter etc?

Or is it a quick wipe round with a cloth?

I need main dealer prices.

Last time i went into a main dealers they had fixed servicing at about £129 for a main service.This was for my old r reg car but does this sort or service apply to my new one?.

My cdti is in on thursday for its first service, apparently just an oil change. They have quoted £140.

Oh and they hadnt a clue what I was on about when I mentioned the handbrake work...

Just an oil change and reset service light, local garage did it for £35 using GENUINE parts to prevent invalidating the warranty!

Oil change and 'check' some other things. I would not be surprised if these 'checks' weren't actually done.

Anyway, any interested motorist would do this checks far more frequently than service interval, eg 'check' tyre condition and fluid levels.

Load of tosh IMO.

Last time my dad used the stealer for the Zafira service they said oil change was done (dipstick was low) and new headlamp fitted (was loose and sidebulb light NOT working) ever since then we haven't bother and the overall charge £257.50!

It doesn't have to be genuine parts either, as long as the supplier has a statement of 'matching quality' the parts are just as valid for warranty, after all, Vauxhall don't make their own filters do they?
