    Default Air Box Mod Done....

Just done this now, cleaned all the dead leaves and cr@p out of the box.

Going to take it for a blast up the motorway to see if it makes a difference. Hope it does!

    hi
it doesn't make a big differance but it will seem smoother and remove the flat spots when pulling away and getting upto speed

hoovered all the dead shyte out of the box and also cleaned the filter element. Power delivery is far smoother now and it picks up much better without the need to drop down a gear.
Just need to raid the coin jar for the K&N filter now.

Don't forget to reset the ECU (disconnect the battery for 30 mins) when you fit the K&N filter.

When you alter anything with regards to air intake increases or fuel increases (tuning boxes),it is always a good idea to allow the ECU to 'learn' about the new amounts of air or fuel that are being fed in.Disconnecting the battery wipes the memory clean.

You don't need to do this after a remap because the ECU already knows.LOL

cheers for that - the little bit of plastic removed really makes a difference IMO.

far smoother now.... and seems more economical!
