    Default Another Fuel Rant !!!

Don't usually buy the Express, but after seeing the front page today, I had to read the article............

"FUEL PRICES TO REACH £1.50 BY THE END OF THE YEAR"

the article says that fuel (at this moment) is 20% higher (per litre) than this time last year.Oil,after dipping in January, has now reached another record high ($101 a barrel). The Government has still to add 2 x already set fuel duty increases in April and October. The price at my local BP station today for diesel was 110.9p a litre I own a petrol but it is also heading the same way. It is frightening. we are powerless to stop it but we are sitting ducks.Congestion charges, increased Road Tax to penalise emissions. It's is getting ridiculous. The Goverment is trying to bully people into almost stopping driving altogether. The flip-side of this is also another sh4ting though. If everyone stopped driving tomorrow and stopped smoking, where would the easy pickings come from then??? Approx every 70p in a litre of fuel goes to the Government. It's brilliant !!!! Tax wages and then tax the tax payer again for buying fuel. You couldn't write it !!!!!!

    Vehicle : Jaguar XF 3.0D V6

    Yes oil is $101 a barrel, BUT $2 = £1, so that's £50 a barrel.

Like most of the time, we moan about it but do nothing.... Time for a new Government IMO.

    That's 3.5% more than me

Our company uses the 'forced distribution' method. You can be 'brilliant' but somebody can be 'more brilliant'.Went into hospital for an operation on my knee. Was off for 6 weeks (Doctor's advice). My absence was a 'differentiator' to the 'next guy'.wonder why I want to leave and hook my Boss on the way out.4rse that he is (slightly off topic, apologies lol)

You could have, but your forgetting the extra savings in MPG that most diesels owners get. Although I run a big diesel, I know I'm better off than in my old petrol..... at the moment!
Now I need a turbo to keep up!
