but now it's diesel and not unleaded that's affected? or is it both?
I haven't been able to find anymore info about this but I think it is supposed to be only a diesel problem this time. You do have to wonder about the general quality of Tesco fuels though considering the number of bad batches of fuel that seem to cause problems so regularly.
Brian
Thats what you get for buying cheap, nasty fuel!
I mean cheap as in product quality and before the debate starts on all fuels the same their not.
I know this as two of my clients are the biggest companys in this line of business!

Tesco diesel is obviously because they leave out some additives - like the ones which stop diesel freezing.
Sorry a bit of a typo in my haste.

the fuel u buy at tesco and sainsburys is the same as any where else it all comes from the same place the only difference is the addatives they add to the fuel may be different than that of some other suppliers. so i would guess the fault is with the addative not the fuel
If tesco dont put the additives in there fuel why is my local tescos 4p a litre dearer than the jet station in my village, answer because they are greedy b-s-a-d-, not just happy with making millions of £s proffit from their grocerys.
