    Default rear top arms. how to change.

    as above, any tips on how to change them?

    any help appreciated.

    are the ones off ebay any good or is it better to buy them off lmf?

    Personally i think you are best using genuine parts, ive heard the cheap option doesn't last too long.
    btw how much are they on ebay?

    on ebay they are about £32 each. postage included in this price but dont know if the postage covers 2 items.

    i bought 2 outa my local motor factors, no problems so far, been n bout 5 months nw. jus 2 bolts on each arm, pretty easy to change mate, just wee bit awkward to remove the inner bolts. think i used a couple of extension bars an a nuckle joint. the only other thing is to remover the wire that runs along the arm, the clips jus pull out an push back in.

    i bought one off ebay last year, no problems with it.

    pretty simple to change to.
    i found takin the rear spring out helps alot. then its just 2 bolts, one either end of the arm

    sorry to disagree with Carl.. but there's no need to take the spring out...it doesn't help ( but carl is on coilovers) ...it's just two bolts and the inner one is a pig to get at...

    i just found removin the rear spring on mine made it easier to get a couple of spanners in for the inside bolts.
    im not sure how different the coilover spring is to the standard lowering spring.

    edit: i think the other reason i removed the rear spring was cus it was real easy, a bit of force and i could squeeze the spring off with me hands, due the to springs bein quite short.
