You can open and close the windows via the remote, I've had the keys in my pocket in the past and the button has been pushed and held for a few seconds causing all the windows to come down in the pi**ing rain!!!!! Is the most common explaination anyway, nice gimmick but pretty pointless!!!
yup, if you hold down the open button on your key all windows go down, hold the close button and they all roll up
hth
damn, beaten to it
Could also be caused by flat battery in the remote.
Similar to what happens with some T.V. remotes like changing channels without anyone touching the controller.
3.2 v6 Signum and loving it 😁
Thank you, I didn't know!
I have had this on about 3 or 4 occassions now. Mostly in really wet weather. I have not pressed the keys, I have not had flat key batteries, it seams to be a glitch in the electronics in my car. I now ensure, every time before i get out of the car that i press the window switch on the door, for both windows to ensure they are fully up. Once I was driving along and noticed rather excess wind noise. It was the drivers window that had opened a few millimetres on its own accord. Pressing the door window switch and the window went up fully, wind noise was gone. I have also went out some mornings and the CD has been playing of its own accord. Weird.
is your car called christine.
Lol, hope not. Next time I may get squashed in it!!!
