    Default first time megs clay user

    i received my megs clay today, as its my first time useing clay, whats the best way to use it as my car is very dirty indeed. all hints and tips will be most appreciate

    Wash the car first. good idea ( i don,t do it myself) is to break the clay in half, in case you drop it on the ground............ it is scrap if you do, it pick,s up bits of grit.
    Flatten the clay into a sort of pad.
    Spray a lubrication "ie" megs last touch on to the paint.
    Working in straight lines rub the clay along the panel, make sure it is well lubricated.
    Fold the clay from time to time to expose a clean area of clay.
    Basicly that is it, you will see the dirt come off onto the clay.

    do you need to wipe off anything at anytime? I remember getting a red lint free cloth. mate dropped the clar and that was the end of that.
    My car is gonna get re-sprayed soon possibly McClaren Graphite Grey. One off colour not on any other car so gonna practice on my paint now.

    thanks for that guys how long does it take to clay the whole car and how often do you do it (clay the car that is)

    It's gonna take you a good hour at least for a full clay. I wouldn't clay more than twice a year.
