Quick pic of my Elite

A quick pic of my car as it stands at the minute.

I did go out with the intention of capturing a scenic sunset after reading Duncans photo guide but by the time i found somewhere decent the sun had dropped too much and rather than go home empty handed i took a few quickies in the nearest empty car park i could find.

Not a brilliant pic of the car, the 18's look tiny and the suspension looks too high still, depsite it being on sri springs. Looks much better in the flesh

I had the same problem with the wheels looking small and suspension high when I took a piccie of mine at that angle.

Yep, they do tend to look higher in pics than in the flesh for some reason.

One little trick for the very dedicated amongst you (something used by car photographers everywhere). Take a bunch of stage weights, or equally heavy lumps - sand bags etc., and place them in the footwell of the side that is closest to the camera. This will cause the car to squat down a lot more and look better in pics. The downside is that you do need a quite considerable number of them to get the springs to compress enough!!

Although my rear looks lower than yours. Mine didn't look much higher than Paul's with his lowered springs, so i wonder if I've got to spend some money soon?
