Default Transfering Regal strut brace from 1.8sxi into 1.9 CDTI problems

    Hi,

i am trying to transfer my Regal Strut Brace into my new 1.9 CDTI 150
and have hit a problem. The near side mount has a bracket attached to it holding the ECU and gets in the way of the strut brace. Anyone know what the best workaround for this is?
Will I have to chop a bit out of the bracket? or does any one have a bettter answer?

    cheers for any help

just bolt it on the top that what i did. with longer bolts. just place a washer under each bolt hole to take up the gap from the rased bits on the bracket. only needed 1 washer each side

The upright on the bracket seems to get in the way of the holes matching up

Was it the same bracket? as it the brace is fouled by the upright on the bracket

Think I need to take a grinder to both, then it will fit!
