    Default Dreaded limp home mode

Well, exactly 1 month out of Warranty, my SRI 1.9 cdti 150 was driving jus fine then started pulling as if the brakes were binding, no real pull, then next thing, the spanner light on dash. I stopped the car, re cycled ignition an has been fine since, covered almost 2 miles and all seemed fine. Umm. Car has never been modified, will have 2 monitor from now on.

Take your plastic engine cover off & look down between the inlet manifold & the cylinder head for the infamous Swirl valve issue..

Could also be Egr valve related + Many other things, Only true way to find out if there is no visible notification is to get the fault Codes read !!

As above matey. The only way to know for sure is to have the fault codes read. It could be any number of things.

As you're just out of warranty, I'd be very surprised if Vx didn't help you out with repair costs.

Ian, only 25k miles. Full Vauxhall service history.

I was choked with the cold so my hearing was a bit distant but it felt like the turbo was not spooling up at all. After ignition re-cycle all appeared fine. Have not been in it today.

All motorway miles (40 mile round trip per day), average 60 or 70 Mph, its not thrashed but lets just say it gets used from what I would say is the best for the engine.

Well I went a 30 mile run today and it was perfect. No spanner light, running with maximum power. Most peculiar
