    Default Siggy Design questions

    Hi all

I have a few questions about my '05 Siggy design.

1: The half 'leatherette' on the seating is squaking in the rear seats. What can I use to stop this?

2: when I am listening to a CD and I have the sat nav on, how do I pause the CD if I need to take a phone call? So the Sat nav will continue but the cd will pause where it is?

3: Does anyone have the torque graph for the Caterman chip on my 120cdti engine? I want to know where the extra power is living.

4: Are all VX gearboxes notchy and generally unpleasant?

    Thanks in advance guys..........

1: Pull the squeeking one slightly forward - mine does the same

2: Not sure its possible to pause the CD - or on any car I have owned.

    3: Not me

4: Mines ok when it warms up, but notchy as hell when its cold.

Now I need a turbo to keep up!

    2. I don't think this is possible without a connection between your CD70 and the carkit via external line in. There is only the mute-option.

    Hi Sig

I don't expect it to work in tandem with the phone exactly - just the ability to stop the CD, but continue with the Nav.
At moment, all I do is turn the volume all the way down as this leaves the nav volume up still. However, this does not stop the cd

    hmmm

As far as I know there is no way to pause a CD except during traffic messages or when the external line in (eg phone) is giving a signal. In fact I've never seen a car CD-player that was able to pause a CD

Btw, it is easier to push the button to mute, than to turn the volume all the way down

Hmm, I'll try the mute thing. Does the CD carry on?

Obviously, in my old car without Nav integrated, I'd just hit the off button when I got a call.

Never mind, it's not the end of the world I don't suppose.
