Default Cars you would buy - but can't...

I saw the advert for the new Kia P'eed on the telly and I thought - wow - thats a nice looking car!

Then I realised it was a Kia (?! whoever the fcku they are ?!) - the car then went onto my 'I would, but I can't' list, which already includes the Hyundai Coupe and Santa Fe...

Hyundai do 5yr unlimited milage warranties and the Kia comes with 7yr 100,000miles!

The Kia would be a nice alternative to the Astray.....but I don't know about you, but telling the mates that you just bought a Kia isn't going to get you off lightly...

Are there any cars that you would like, but just cannot bring yourself to buy?

    Cee'd

    Coupe

    Santa Fe

    Yeah a BMW M3.

A beautiful car and very capable, but I just can't bring myself to buy one.

....think of this as a 'moreover' kind of thread...

Agreed with any BMW really - can't knock them as cars, but wouldn't have one for fear of ridicule...

I'd never buy another French car again... ever!

Not so much cos they are ugly, or anything, but just that you can't own one without always something stupid going wrong with them.

i have had a hyundai coupe 2002 52 shape and i would still have it if it wasn't for adamsons body shop messing up the respray because somebody drove into it. It had revvy engine gorgeous seats and looks to die for. I also ad a TF 135 which was awesome to drive ok that had build issues but on a sunny day you just forgot about them. if you want a good coupe that was designed as a coupe from the ground up buy the hyundai you won't regret it.

I have known a few people with these - old and new shape. I think they are okay cars actually with a quite decent interior too. Only problem I found was getting in and out - especially the old shape.

Yes, that's because you've got a Peugot not a Renault.... Keep being tempted by the coupe - it looks the bits.

Beemer M5 estate, with optional indicators..
