Most will state what type of paint their for if it applies at all, but nearly all products are fine for metallic paint and will do no damage what so ever.HTH

Sure can mate. The clay removes bonded contaminants from the clear coat, polishes help remove micro scratches/ swirls from the clear coat and glazes help fill the micro scratches, so all work with metallics.

Vehicle : Insignia VX-line RED Tourer

    Trim : No, over weight!

    Engine : Flux Core Capacitor

    Year : 1 A.D

    Mileage : Rising

    Thumbs up

If you intend on doing the "Full Works" Follow this route.........
    1/ Wash the car off
2/ Clay the painted body parts of the car
3/ Re-wash the car and dry it off
    4/ Polish the paintwork
    5/ Seal the paintwork
    6/ Wax the paintwork
    7/ Admire the paintwork
8/ Post up pictures of the paintwork (as it's the law).

Oh - Be prepared for at least 1 days work, just to do it !

Tony, I recently restored the paintwork on our metallic Suzuki Swift. I used a process similar to what fil 4822 posted
