    Default Vibrations!!

My motor is running great now that I have had the swirl valve, front springs and fuel pump fitted, but would like to ask others of 2.2 direct engines if they feel vibrations when holding onto the gear stick?

I have a bad habit of holding onto the stick (gear0 when driving and I have felt the vibration before but wondered if any one else has felt this as well?..

Engines seems smooth enough and fuel consumption is good, so any answers or theories would be appreciated. Oh and thanks in advance.

I have noticed this too, but put it down to the engine "moving" nothing to be alarmed about. Mind you I have noticed that when holding the gearstick ready to change from first to second when "booting" it, it comes out of gear quicker than when driving less agressive.

    Geeze i Love this forum!

My last 2.2 did not do this at all, although the gears were stiffer to change.
Now my new one with the 6 speed does and it's been really bothering me!
And now because of this forum IT ISN'T ANY LONGER!!! LOL

26000 miles now on 56plate cdti150 and nothing coming back through the gear stick, in fact I would say this is one of the best gearboxes I've used.
No vibes at all in car, only annoying issue was the odd creaking from the dash, ie. the silver strip on the left side of dash, and also the glove compartment, also behind the dash panels. Now all fixed by applying foam strip in appropiate area's. Silence is golden!
