avatars

can anyone explain to me where and how do i get the avatar added below my name,i`m not much of a computer expert.

Hi if you look in the User CP box on the top tool bar it will take you to your profile. Look for edit avatar on the left side,then you can down load one of your "photos" for your avatar. but it can not be bigger tham the stated sizes 150 by 100 or 40kb

usercp then select edit avatar, u'll need to have a pic stored on ur computer, click the browser button and find the file u saved for the pic u want to upload, select it then press save!

i've just tried this and have resized the picture to fit and when i click save changes it says file not uploaded, any ideas?? i'm probably the least computer minded person on here mind so some real simple language will help!!!

You cant upload the same pic twice without changing its name. If you mean your avatar its working by the way.

EDIT, as you have just said, scrap my last post LOL
