You may need to change the plug on the US one, make sure its 110v, get a transformer from a builders merchants like "Bradfords" or similar. B&Q also sell them
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

The PC is $150 and the transformer http://www.voltageconverters.com/vol...onverters.html
I just need to find out what wattage it is. So as you can see it's a lot cheaper than the 150 quid for the UK one.
    A lead is pennies.

Is the frequency OK too? US use 60 Hz, we use 50 Hz. Worth checking out IMO.

A 110 V tranny would be OK, if the frequency change isn't a problem.

    Here's a Tatty one.

    What power is the polisher?

    Here's a lower power one, Low_power

    Here's a Mid_range one.
