    Default House prices crashing

I'm reading more and more news like this every day now.

    http://www.guardian.co.uk/money/2008...ty.houseprices

When the RICS (Royal Institute of Chartered Surveryors) and Mervyn King (those without a vested interest in the market) start talking of 'negative growth' and recession risk, you know something is very very wrong.

I think we're in a crash and it's gonna be bad.

    What about everyone else?

I have to admit it would do me a favour - although I appreciate how much it could affect people with huge mortgages already...

I've already lived this in the 90's, I do hope it doesn't happen again because it doesn't do anyone any favours.

i know it isn't any use but if u think that if the market drops on your house by 15% then the new house u look at will also drop by 15% no good if youv'e got the house to make money but it makes me feel better when i see that i'm to loose £45,000 and some silly sod will be losing £90,000.
