    Default front tyre wear

i know this has been covered before but could someone advise me on what to check
my 54 reg vectra cdti (150) has destroyed the very inside edge of my front tyres the tracking was done when the tyres were fitted the front shocks seem ok and the balljoints (complete bottom arms) were changed just before the tyres were changed
    thanks folks

The CDTI will wear the outside of the tyre slightly due to the weight of the front end, sounds like tracking to me

My 3.0V6 CDTi doesn't do that and its the heavy weight of the engine range. Still, sounds like the tracking too me. What pressure are you running the tyres at?
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

I would have thought that if you have a heavy engine they would compensate for it by adjusting the tracking accordingly.
My engine is a 3.2 and the front tyres wear evenly all over.
