    Default Tyres...ohhhhh Pooh!

I washed me car this afternoon. I noticed 1 tyre is only just legal and another has a 1 inch split in the wall.

    Currently got Contisport Contact3 (?) 235/35 ZR19s.

Having seen the other thread today on tyres....Not a happy chappy!!!!

I guess it's off the Bathers in the morning!

    Any ideas on cost?

    Mine were £180 each side

Then again, down South, stuff can be more xpensive.

Try Direct Tyres too - they seem to do a roaring trade for 18" and upwards rims.

Went to Bathers for mine last month and the service was pretty good. 15 mins for 2 tyres with no wait.

Bathers are fantastic. Theres a reason why theres always a queue to get in.

    Who are Direct Tyres?

I got a couple of tyres from there a few weeks ago, they were £65 cheaper than ATS EACH

Tunnel Tyres charged £8 each to fit and balance etc, not too bad I thought.

You not been following the threads Steve? Bathers came in for a bit of stick recently here because they wouldn't fit the alternative VX size tyre without a letter from the insurance company.

Having used them twice now and knowing how good they are I still wouldn't go anywhere but Bathers. I still owe you a pint for recommending them in the first place.

I have used them a few times over the years and they have always been very good and knowledgeable. I only used tunnel tyres this time because I can see them from my office window and it's convenient lol
