Default Portpatrick: Anyone know of self catering lodges or similar ?

It's that time of year again.

We are planning our annual shift fishing trip.

Normally we just drive up to Loch Earn in a couple of cars, park up for the night and doss down in tents on the shore, but this year we thought we would do something a little different - Sea fishing at Portpatrick.

So, wondering if anyone local knows of a self catering place that will sleep around ten firefighters who wont make a noise and don't drink too much at all ( LOL...!!! )???.

A kinda "lodge" cabin thingy type affair would be perfect, but any other suggestions appreciated.

Only thing we might be stuck on is finding one that will do us just a one night stay. Planning on around the May time.

    Cheers.

The whole family and I take an annual trip up to Portpatrick, and have been staying in a couple of cottages I could recommend. The 2 cottages are 4 bed each, and are semi-detached. I would highly recommend them. They are up next to the golf club house. Check out the link http://www.portpatrickholidayhouses.co.uk

Lovely area up there. Have you been before?

Thanks for the link m8, I will check it out.

Nope, only ever been on a run out on the bike down there and passed through to be honest, never stayed around the area or had a look down there.
