Hi guys,
Only last night I realised that the drivers wing mirror is fitted with auto dimming. How cool.
However, the passenger side just has a normal mirror in there. Is this correct, or should they both have auto dimming glass?
Hi guys,

Just drivers side. Cool isnt it, just dont knock mirrors with anyone!!
What models is this on? as just fitted the auto dimming mirror and would like this mod also.......
It's on my 06 Signum Elite if that helps. It takes its light reading from the interior mirror as far as I can tell.
Its on my 07 design, like above it reacts exactly the same as the interior so it must have a corresponding feed somewhere
its a great toy! but really works as well
Does anyone know how to get this to work on non elite and design models please?
If its just a feed then great another mod done.....
Not a clue im afraid, with mine it was one of those, hang on, that looks different moments and then someone on here told me i'd got it!!
Its not mentioned in the brochure. Bet its either a really simple or deathly difficult job
I think it takes the reading from the interior mirror. I put my hand over the sensor last night and it looked as though it un-dimmed both mirrors.
So I assume you need to run a feed off the interior mirror out to the wingmirror. You might even find that it simply works, depending on the age of the loom.
While were on the subject, does anyone know why there is, what appears to be a sensor, on the BACK of the internal dimming mirror?...and does anyone know where the sensor is for the auto lights?
Questions...questions, but hey, that's what this forum is all about!
Thanks.
Gordon.
