    Default Dodgy Steering

I have noticed over the past couple of days that the car seems to have very light steering when going round corners. It's fine on straight roads and the motorway but when i take a corner it feels like the car is going to spin out, as if it is oversteering..........

I've noticed marks on the outside of the passenger side tyre to suggest the alignment may be out, but would this contribute to the feel of the steering?

Check your rear shockers. Could be shot.

I checked the pressures the other night and they are all slightly over the suggested pressure. tbh it feels like the front is the most affected but it may well be the rear. I could take it to the dealer first thing as i'm on a late shift tomorrow. If they find it is the rear shocks is it advisable to drive the car until they get fixed?

Are you driving in the rain? I get it, especially when I reach full lock.

Nah the roads bone dry. Just went out again and noticed that the back felt quite odd as well. What do i say to the dealer - as i don't want to go in and say "Check my shock absorbers"!!!!

tbh it feels quite scary as it was very very light when i took a left hand corner and i wasn't going fast either......

Did you not have anything done to your suspension prior to the pulley issue?

I remember you had another issue before the pulley went.

Before the pulley went it was taken in to get a squeak from the rear checked and nothing was found.

Well then if the car had a 'squeak' and you can feel lightness in the steering, better get it checked out - cracking springs are a bit too common on Veccys.
