When i insured my new bike today something struck me that i had not seen last months payment (direct debit ) for the veccy come out of the bank so i phoned them up and they said they had cancelled it on the 6th of december because i had not returned the proof of no claims which i had done they said they had sent a letter by recorded delivery which i never got so they are looking in to it, I could of got 6 points if i had got stopped by the police.

Had the same thing happen to me once. Thanks Direct Line.

Then Admiral tried to do the same!! One heated phone conversation later and they mysteriously turned up!

direct line. i can vouch for that they done that to me and told me i still had to pay £600 for the insurance that they cancelled. so i forget all about it till i was getting quotes for the vec c last year, so i phoned privilage and they said no because i owed direct line their other part of the company £600
