Default To Tint Or Not To Tint - That Is The Question.

    As above really,

Fancy getting some legal window tints,

Not sure whether to go for complete black out for the rears or a mild tint all over or mild front black back or ?

Whats your opinions/experiances and anyone know what it costs to be done professionally - not talking about the stuff that bubbles after five mins...

    Cheers

what colour is your car mate ?

if its dark I'd suggest mild all around, or even mild fronts and limo all around the back. I had mine done 2 years ago at Pentagon Glass Tech for £270

I got pulled for the fronts and had to get them removed.

my cars been vandalised since then, and all the windows were replaced. Had pentagon Put supaglass all around at cost of £500

thinking of gettin the merc style blue tints now, cos my car's silver and they'de look mint.

I can get u pics of limo tints at the back of me car

my car is moonland, i would prefer to stay legal as cant be bothered with getting pulled as it happens plenty when wearing my dark visor on the bike.

My g/friend will also be getting somthing similar, shes more than likley going to get a lilac corsa sxi that is pretty cheap where i bought my car

I think a light tint on you're widows really makes the car stand out and look good. Below are two pictures of my vec which has a legal tint on the front and slightly darker on the rear. As you can see from the pictures depending on the angle you view the car from makes a difference to how dark they look.
I had my car done at TintR of nottingham and I think they would charge around £190 (cost me 170 quid 2 years ago) they come with a 5 year guarnatee too.

    Vehicle : insignia tourer

    Trim : elite

    Engine : 2.0 cdti 160

    Year : 2011

    Default

window tinting on the front is elligal unless its left alone
as the glass is a 70% its self as standard so
if its tinted darker then its elligal straight
away but if u like a slight darker tint then i think
60% on front and 50% on rear is dark enough,

i got our corsa done a while back and i got 35% on the
front and 20% on the rear and tailgate and upto now i aint
been pulled and i have been passed the bill loads of times
i even had to laugh as 1 of them waved at me
