Number Plate Lights

Help!!!
I noticed the other day that the left hand number plate bulb had blown, so i removed it this morning and found that it was down. Went to the motor factors and got a new one, put it in and still nothing. Would there be anything else that i would need to check?

Hope i'm not stating the obvious, but what about the fuse? Don't knoww off the top of my head which fuse serves the number plate light, and what else ruins off that fuse - but worth checking?

The manual will tell you which fuse serves the number plate light.

i had originally thought of the fuse except for the fact that the right hand bulb is working fine

That happened on mine, so into the dealer it went and it was a broken wire on the back of the fitting.

That was the one thing i was worrying about, as i the wife uses the boot quite a lot for the shopping and slams the boot, unless something has come loose. Can you tell me how much vauxhall charged to fix it?

Nowt. It was done under warranty. 04 plate car.
