    Vehicle : Insignia

    Trim : Sri

    Engine : 140 Ecoflex S/S

    Year : 2013

    Default Changed to V-Power

I've now got the best part of a tankful of 99 RON V-Power petrol but there's probably still 10-12 litres of 95 RON swilling around.

I'm going to run this lot right through and then re-fill again with 99 RON by which time the whole tank should be pure 99 RON.

Having just reset the ECU to allow for the Courtenay air filter, would it be beneficial to re-set the ECU again when I know I've got a pure tankful of 99 RON or will the ECU sense this anyway??

It's well worth the extra pennies INO, no better fuel to use. No need to reset the ECU as the car will have KNOCK(Spelling???) sensor that can tell what type of fuel your usingHTH

I tested it 3 years ago with standard ECU (now chipped by EDS (Regal?)).

I felt no extra power and Vecci was still thirsty.
In germany it cost approx. 12 cent more than Super (95 Oktan)!
    It's not worth!
