in a nutshell.. you'll need to remove the intake hose from the butterfly assy.. remove the butterfly assy from the plenubm to expose one of the mounting screws..the other 5 are under the plastic 'ecotec' cover which snaps up and off..use a VERY long torx bit to remove 6 little setscrews..ther are tight as they normally corrode into the alloy inlet manifold...

get an assistant to hold the plenubm up about 8" while you work underneath it saving disconnecting all the hoses.....then you can access the coilpacks and the plugs underneath them.. allow an hour if you don't chew the heads of the stupid 6 soft retaining screws....

tools are a very long extension torx drive, ratchet, long extension bar with the slimline style plug tool and some torx sockets..

What size is the Torx head/socket Mark? Please.
What lenght are the Torx bolts and what is the thread size Too, as I would think of replacing them if posible, Mark.

Only do them if they seem to need doing Ed, I did mine on the Omega and the difference before and after was absolutely nothing.
