Driveshaft issue's 2.0T??

I have been getting a intermittent clunking noise from the front of my car recently - i have had it in the garage to get the suspention checked out and everything was fine.

I have the car booked in again this friday for another look see and i was speaking to the service manager. They received some information at the start of the week saying there are some issue's with the grease used in the driveshaft's of vectra's(all engine's) and this has been causing a mechanical knocking noise(around 2k Rpm) from the front of the car's affected. So they are now going to be removing the driveshaft from my car and puting in this new variant of grease, fingers crossed this cure's it

My question is has anyone ever heard anything about this issue before because its certainly something i never considered.....

I've never heard of this. I'll ask my dealer next time I'm in to see if they know about it, see what they say.
