Default What Temperature does Your Cdti Run at ??

    HellOo.

Weather has warmed up somewhat over the past couple of days (Far to Gorgeous for work )

Now my coolant temp never really ever got above 80 & dropped on tickover, But today it reached 85 - 87. I have never seen it go that high, But !! I have only ever ownded the Car through Winter !! So what is the Normalish running temp through Spring Summer Etc ??

    Thanks

    Dean

85-87 sounds right and it's idenical to mine, mine might creep to 90 if sat in traffic, but on a run always 85-87. usually about the same all year iirc

    Cheers chaps.

12 Oclock being 90 then, I suppose when you look at the spacings on the Gauge, 90 is Halfway & most modern cars seem to sit at that on their gauges & not move, I have noticed with Diesels though that they do tend to fluctuate far more than the Petrol equivalent !!.

    Thanks

    Dean

85-90. Never more than that, just let it tick over until the fan comes on to check its working and note the gauge temps. All cars will vary a little.
