Default clutch spring (wot a pain)

just had my clutch spring go today so went to vauxhall to get one
£9 not to bad and they said they would fit it for £50 not a chance in hell i am paying that.
so went home look in the how2 and easy to fit i thought.
i wish i was a teenager again.i have never been in that position for a long while.not the easyest thing to get at if you are 6.2 tall and a of medium to large build.
forgot to put that in the how2
you need to be a midget and be flexable

£50 to fit something that should have had a recall? Cheating ba***rds, its takes about a minute to fit. My local stealers done it for free, so I suppose they are not all bad. Mind u I kicked up a stink as it should never have broke in the first place. Amazing what they will do when there is a Q behind u.

i dont useally use the local vx but seing all i wanted was the spring i went their instead of traveling 20 miles but had no intensions of letting them fix it .
my local vx is run by a load of muppets and not very helpfull. if i buy anything from them i have to go with a part number as trying to explain to them wot i want is hard work.
spring all fixed and works fine just a pig to get at.
