Traffic Jams!

Stuck in bloomin traffic queue tonight

For the guys that know it, A610 Ripley to M1 J26.
On way home tonight, just past the 'Ikea' exit when I noticed a queue of traffic in the distance.
It took me an hour to get from Ikea to M1 roundabout
No accident but just as bad going into Nottingham

not good mate, any tuesday is bad for some reason on the ring road......as for where you got stuck not good at all

i know what your saying mate it took me 45 minutes to get from pride park to the other side of derby which usually takes me 10 mins

I sat in the traffic & was waiting to get a ditchp early warning
It would have been too late then

The 'normal' hour journey home took 2 hours

Start missing that mate!!! There's a long traffic jam!!! I was stuck seeing our mate Steve at Marehay!

The cause is the big island after J26 where people go left to Watnall- some clowns are digging up the motorway bridge causing traffic to q back to 26!!!

Might be better starting to look down through A38 or thru Heanor down to ilkeston!!! A38 best??

Don't envy you at all mate!! You'll be ok though- they're finished in Oct 2010!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you just try that journey on match day when derby are at home, the traffic going AWAY from that area at 3pm is unreal!

I got stuck coming from York to Liverpool via these junctions and it was well ****ed up.

A journey I can do in 1hr 50mins took 2hrs 30mins!

what i dont get on that road ian is the 40 limit, think they should get the crash barrier put in, in the central reservation. seems silly how its 70->50->40 maybe you should have gone to sainsburs in ripley and had some tea. that or the pub near there is good, butterly park. many an hour stuch in there

Not surprised you spent many hours in there!!! It takes 3 hours to get lunch when it's empty!!

Try Devonshire Arms nr Ambergate (left from your end at The Excavator) and have Sunday Carvery- Awesome but don't accept any plastic!
